Exciting news! If you missed out on qualifying for the Bend The Air National Finals this year, here’s your last chance to earn your spot! We’re thrilled to announce our Wild Card Round – an exclusive opportunity for competitors to showcase their skills and potentially join us at Nationals! 🌟

Here’s how it works:

✨ Last Opportunity to Qualify: This is your final chance to make it to Nationals via video entry to be part of the most electrifying event of the year! 

​

🤩 Who Can Enter?  Whether you weren't able to attend a regional event, competed at a regional but didn't qualify or have qualified a routine but would like to try to qualify in additional sections, the Wild Card Round is open for all Bend The Air categories ((Aerial Solo & Duos + Acro/Circus Solos, Duo/Trios & Groups)..

📅 Entry Deadline: Submit your video entry by Sunday, November 9 to be considered.

🎥 Video Submission: Access the online entry portal and click "Add New Registration" to get started, follow the prompts to enter your routine, pay the fee and upload your performance. Your video must meet our regular routine requirements. Your video must have been filmed in 2025. It can be a performance stage video or a video recorded in your training space. Please note that the quality of the performance shown is considered in the judging. So if submitting a video in your training space, it should be a stage ready performance.

💰 Wild Card Round Entry Fee: $45 per routine.

🏆 Judging Process: Our BTA review panel will assess each entry, and those awarded a wild card will be notified via email. Video performances will be judged based on the same judging criteria that is used at all of our regional events. Routines will be assessed against others submitted for the same category, based on the routine criteria along, with the expected national performance standard for each category level. 

​

The Wild Card Round is a straightforward selection process, with entries either being successful or not. Due to the nature of this round, competitors won't receive individual feedback or scores on their entry video. Our panel will be reviewing each submission thoroughly to ensure fair consideration for all competitors.

📧 What Happens Next: Once results are announced, wild card recipients will be required to complete their entry by submitting entry forms and paying the event registration & entry fee to officially secure their spot at Nationals!
